Here’s the tea (or bubbly)! What began as a private Gratitude Challenge turned into a makeover for Ladies Night.

I was happy to finally settle down in my new city after the physical and emotional journey it took to get there. Leaving Indianapolis to move to SoCal was both risky and uncertain. This journey encouraged me to  journal a list of 100 supportive and inspiring people at the end of August 2019.

At first, I thought I was going to gift each person a copy of my latest book, but it was nearly impossible to do when I had so much unfinished business. Just a year prior, I offered my first stemless glass on preorder and only one customer invested. This particular customer  was the epitome of the Ladies Night Out experience so I knew that I had to make the drinkware at all costs.

As a result, the Gratitude Project took a back seat. When my first box of glasses arrived, I was pleased with the product but not with my design. I wanted “what you see” online to be “what you get” in person. So I dedicated 2020 to rebranding.

In the process, I worked with an amazing graphic designer, Jade Layman. The new colors were inspired by a rose gold tumbler that was both stunning and felt feminine. Then it hit me. THIS would be the perfect gift for my gratitude list!

By the time I shipped the bulk of them, we were under the stay-at-home orders due to COVID-19. It was reassuring to receive messages from friends who felt remembered during this isolating period.

We’ve renamed our platform to Ladies Night Lifestyles. Though our name has changed, we continue with the same intention as the first episode in August 2017,

“Whether it’s Ladies Night In or Ladies Night Out, this is what we’re talking about!”
